Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to participate in any Nick's Sports Pools contest.

Nature of the pools

Nick's Sports Pools runs friendly, skill- and chance-based sports contests among a private community of participants. These are not operated as a commercial gambling business. Participants are responsible for confirming that entering a paid-entry sports pool is permitted where they live before joining.

Payments

Entry fees are collected via third-party personal payment apps (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay). By entering, you agree to use these platforms in accordance with their own terms of service. Nick's Sports Pools is not affiliated with, and does not represent, any payment platform, sports league, or contest-hosting platform (ESPN, CBS, Sleeper, Splash Sports, etc.) referenced on this site.

Payouts

Final payouts are based on the number of paid entries and are announced after registration closes for each contest. See each contest's page for that contest's specific payout structure once available.

Cancellations & Refunds

• If a contest is cancelled before it starts (for example, a squares grid that never fills, or a season that's called off), paid entries will be refunded in full.
• Once a contest has started, entry fees are generally non-refundable, except at the commissioner's discretion.

Rule Changes & Disputes

The commissioner (Nick) has final say on rule interpretations, scoring disputes, and any situation not explicitly covered by the General Rules or a specific contest's rules.
